Cardtronics is currently seeking an exceptional corporate commercial lawyer to join its legal department in Mississauga. Working directly with the Canadian management team, you will act as a corporate legal advisor to the senior leadership team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: drafting and negotiating all documents required for mergers and acquisitions and the implementation of new products and services, implementing and integrating acquired businesses into the broader organization, working collaboratively as part of the global team to support legal needs across Canada, the UK and Australia; and providing regulatory and compliance support.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of post-call corporate commercial experience, gained from a major law firm or in-house environment. Experience with a broad range of corporate and securities transactions is required. Some exposure or experience with financings, leasing and restructurings would be considered an asset. This position requires a confident, resourceful and motivated lawyer with strong drafting, negotiation and advisory skills and strong academic credentials.
