Teachers’ top calibre Legal Department is seeking to add an exceptional lawyer to their team in Toronto. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of leading edge domestic and international transactions across Teachers’ asset groups with some of Canada’s top financial and legal professionals.

The successful candidate will provide advice on a wide range of global investment transactions. You will work closely with Teachers’ investment professionals and be required to think creatively through sophisticated and innovative investment transactions involving both public and private markets.

The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of experience in private equity, M&A, securities and/or corporate finance from a top-tier firm or a major financial institution. Teachers’ is seeking a highly motivated team player with a client-oriented approach to practice as well as an ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
