Adam J. Lepofsky

Adam founded RainMaker Group in 1998 and, as President, manages all aspects of the firm’s business operations. He specializes in partner and senior-level placements in both firms and in-house departments. His successes include the recruitment of executive general counsel, senior lawyers in private practice, and entire legal departments.

Adam’s route to legal recruitment was anything but typical. Before law school, he worked as a Sales Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing for a US-based publishing company. He went on to earn his B.A. in psychology from York University and his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, continuing to lead sales and marketing seminars for professional organizations throughout his studies. He was called to the Ontario Bar and practiced corporate finance with a major Bay Street firm until founding RainMaker Group.

Adam’s recruitment experience, extensive network in the legal community, and deep industry knowledge have made him an authoritative figure on every aspect of the legal profession. He is also a fervent sports fan, and combines his personal interests with his professional network to support several charities through the organization and sponsorship of sporting events.
