In a recent article done in Precedent Magazine (article link below), they compared call backs from the past 5 years. With a steep decline from 224 students in 2010 to only 204 students in 2013, the numbers have plateaued in recent years. President and founder of RainMaker Group, Adam Lepofsky, praised firms for at least maintaining hires at that level. Whereas for mid-level associates, “No one’s going crazy, but we’ve seen more hiring in the past six months than we did the last five or six years.” And although the market could turn at any moment, Adam believes that “Firms are smart.
