Aurora is seeking to add two lawyers to join their high caliber legal team in Edmonton, Alberta.
Employment – (1 position)
The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of employment law experience and will lead a number of matters including: advising the various business units and the human resources team on employment, risk management and privacy matters; negotiating and drafting a range of agreements; developing and implementing policies and risk mitigation strategies; and managing litigation.
Corporate/M&A – (1 position)
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of corporate, commercial and/or M&A experience and will advise on acquisitions, dispositions, partnerships and investment transactions, negotiate and draft a range of commercial agreements and advise on emerging cannabis compliance legislation and corporate governance matters.
