Georgian is looking for an experienced Regulatory/Compliance Lawyer to join their growing and nimble legal team. This unique opportunity is for proactive individuals with strong legal backgrounds, superior analytical skills, and excellent business judgment. Reporting to the AGC and Head of Compliance, you will work closely across the entire business, from investments, operations, fundraising, marketing and research and development, to advise on legal, regulatory and compliance issues in connection with Georgian’s role as a manager to private funds. Some duties include but are not limited to: support the Georgian compliance program and engage with key stakeholders across Georgian business functions; assist in all US, Canadian and global compliance and regulatory matters; support registrations and filings including in the US; and support the compliance program through the development and execution of policies, procedures and guidelines, training, monitoring and governance. You will also work with Georgian’s
in-house and external counsel around regulatory developments that impact the organization.

The successful candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in litigation and/or regulatory work at a top-tier law firm or in-house legal department.
