Our client, the leading off-price retailer of apparel and home fashions in the U.S. and worldwide, is looking to bring on a Leasing Lawyer to join its real estate department. Reporting to the VP, Legal, the successful candidate will offer legal counsel and guidance with, but not limited to the following: negotiation, drafting and review of real estate contracts, including leases, amendments to leases, e-stoppel certificates, and renewal and extension notices; acquisitions, dispositions and management of property; negotiate, review and interpret legal documentation for various business partners; and reviewing litigation strategies and/or settlement options with outside counsel. The successful candidate will bring a minimum of 3 years of commercial real estate experience with strong negotiating skills.
