SLF’s Corporate Secretary Dept. is seeking a highly motivated and organized Corporate/Securities Lawyer for this role. The successful candidate will ensure the provision of leading corporate governance, corporate and securities/public disclosure advice to support the Board of Directors, Executive Management and other senior management. Responsibilities will include: assisting with the coordination and execution of Board and Committee meetings including the drafting of meeting materials; serving as the Secretary of one or more Canadian subsidiaries; advising on governance issues, best practices and trends; drafting of annual meeting materials; advising on subsidiary governance; ensuring compliance with enterprise policies; and advising on special projects as required.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant corporate and securities law experience gained at a leading law firm or publicly traded company.
