Atria is seeking a Senior Commercial Real Estate Lawyer to join its head office located in Toronto’s downtown eastern core. Working closely with the President and Executive Team, the successful candidate will lead strategic initiatives relating to the company’s development projects across the GTA and will work alongside an integrated team of professionals including engineers, architects and property managers. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: leading complex transactions including acquisitions, dispositions and financings; negotiating and drafting a variety of agreements including purchase and sale, financing, partnership, joint venture, construction and lease agreements; advising on compliance and risk management, managing litigation and providing direction to external counsel.

The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of post-call real estate experience gained from a reputable law firm or major real estate player. Atria is seeking a confident negotiator who is proactive, entrepreneurial and who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
