Bennett Jones is seeking a seasoned Pension and Benefits Lawyer to join their esteemed Employment Services Group in its Toronto office. In this role, you will leverage your extensive expertise to provide legal counsel on sophisticated pension plan issues arising independently and in the context of M&A and restructuring. The ideal candidate will have experience in Canadian pension and benefits law, including compliance with federal and provincial regulations. You will provide strategic advice to corporate clients and other benefit plan administrators, managers, and trustees on complex benefits issues, while advising on all aspects of the design, establishment, administration and investment of registered and non-registered pension plans, deferred profit-sharing plans, registered retirement savings plans and other types of deferred compensation plans.
