Our client, one of the leading off-price retailers of apparel and home fashions in the U.S. and worldwide, is looking to add its first Canadian Corporate Commercial Lawyer to join their team. Reporting to the AVP Legal, the successful candidate will provide legal counsel and guidance with, but not limited to the following: drafting, reviewing, and negotiating on behalf of the company; collaborating with internal clients and cross-functional teams to support business objectives and mitigate legal risks. In addition, you will drive efficiency in contract review and manage external counsel. You will have a minimum of 4 years post-call commercial contract or other transactional experience gained from a law firm or in-house legal department.
