First Capital REIT is seeking an experienced Commercial Leasing Lawyer to join its first class team of professionals.

Reporting to the Vice President, Legal Affairs, the successful candidate will, working closely with the leasing, operations and construction teams, negotiate, draft and review a variety of lease agreements and ancillary documentation; provide advice with respect to landlord-tenant rights and obligations; provide advice on legal aspects relating to various operational issues; and support real estate transactions, including due diligence for a variety of matters. In addition, the candidate will have a law clerk reporting directly to them. The ideal candidate will have 5 + years of post-call commercial real estate experience focused on commercial leasing.
