Ontario Teachers’ is seeking to add a highly skilled lawyer to their exceptional team in Toronto. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work as a part of a top caliber legal department on a variety of leading edge domestic and international transactions across Ontario Teachers’ asset groups alongside some of the industry’s top financial and legal professionals.

The successful candidate will provide strategic, risk-adjusted advice on a wide range of global investment transactions. You will work closely with Ontario Teachers’ investment professionals and be required to think creatively through sophisticated and innovative investment transactions and contribute to the development and strategy of Ontario Teachers’ Global Investment Counsel team.

The ideal candidate will have 6-9 years of experience in private equity, M&A, securities, corporate finance and/or funds from a top-tier firm or a major financial institution. Ontario Teachers’ is seeking a highly motivated team player with a client oriented approach to practice as well as an ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
